• Sessions are a confidential space where you can talk openly at your own pace. I will listen without judgement, and we can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences together. This might look like exploring relationship/family dynamics, past experiences and present struggles.

  • Starting therapy can feel daunting and it is natural to feel nervous and unsure of what therapy ‘looks like’. The first session is a gentle introduction where we will go through the therapeutic contract and explore what has brought you to therapy - all at your own pace.

  • This is an agreement between us that helps create a safe, clear and supportive space for our work together. It outlines practical details like session times, fees, cancellation policies, confidentiality, and boundaries, so you know what to expect from me as your therapist.

  • Yes, confidentiality is a key part of therapy. However, there are exceptions:

    • Serious risk of harm to yourself or others.

    • Legal Requirements: I am required by law to disclose involvement in acts of terrorism or money laundering, knowledge or involvement of drugs/arms/people trafficking or to behaviours that lead to harm of children and vulnerable adults.

  • I am an integrative, relational therapist. This means I draw from different therapeutic models to suit your individual needs. You can read on more my Therapy page.

  • It varies depending on your needs. Some people want short-term therapy, while others prefer longer-term work. We can review this together as we go.

  • That depends on you. Many clients like to meet weekly at the same time each week to provide consistency. While others prefer flexibility and to meet less often. I am happy to be flexible to meet your needs.

  • I ask that clients give 24 hours’ notice of cancellation. Anything less than that and I charge the full session fee.
